Tomasz Banasiewicz

Prof. Tomasz Banasiewicz, PhD, a frequent guest of the Festival, a surgeon, a researcher at the Medical University. Participant and organizer of many high mountain expeditions- as a doctor and an active participant of mountain activities (Himalayas, Andes, Mt Blanc, Kilimanjaro). In addition to professional interests (liver and large intestine surgery, the usefulness of genetic research, pathophysiology of mountain sickness), he is also interested in literature, painting, adventure cycling and canoeing. The author of mountain films and photo exhibitions.
