RESTAURANTS AND CAFES
You can find some places to eat and a few cafes in Lądek – however, during the Festival they are usually filled with your ex, current or future climbing partners. The list is available here.
We do not want you to starve or die of thirst, so each year we activate a GASTRO zone – mobile gastronomic stands and foodtrucks where you can find snacks, beers, coffee and even a whole lunch or diner.
From this year we also launch breakfast sets – they will be served both on a camping site and next to a Festival Club & Bookstore tent.
KIDS, especially the small ones
A kindergarten zone together with Workshops for Young Travellers are waiting for your kids. If your child is really young and spends most of the time in a wrap or carrycot or sling, you can enter a lecture together – the only condition is not to disturb other visitors. Since we care about comfort of our viewers, we will be forced to ask out those whose kids are crying out loud, screaming or running around. And please understand that we cannot allow you to enter with a pram, which are likely to block evacuation routes.
DOGS and other animals
If you believe that your favorite loves the mountains at least as much as you do – take him with. However, please consider the following first:
a festival is plenty of noise, new stimulations and people. Not each and every animal can stay calm in such circumstances. Since we care about comfort of our viewers, we will be forced to ask out those whose pets are loud or aggressive.
dogs need to obey the law as well – they have to be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle.
SECURITY RULES AND FIRST AID
Festival became a so called mass event. Therefore we ask you to subordinate to the advice given by ordinal and information services. There will a be a medical patrol during the whole festival, ready to help when needed. In case of any problems – please inform our Festival Office at once.
GETTING THERE
ATTENTION: Ladek is a really crowded place during the Festival. There are spacious parking areas marked out on the rims of the city – next to a ski lift (which is closed in September) and near a market place. Those areas are marked with Festival parking signs.
