In 1988 she went to the Indian and Nepal Himalayas for the first time. Then came the time for Siberia, remote corners of Russia, Mongolia, Central Asia, Iran, Tibet, Turkey, Georgia, as well as Venezuela and Tanzania.
She particularly enjoys coming back to the India Himalayas. She is fascinated with ethnic diversity and hospitality of the people living there. Since 1994 she has run, together with her husband Andrzej, Travel Agency Terra Incognita. She also leads trekking expeditions in the Himalayas, presents slideshows from her travels and organizes Festival TERRA. Bound with Lądek for many years, in the Explorers’ Academy she runs classes for children and youth.
