Driven by his passion for film making and astounded by the beauty of his homeland, Bari bid adieu to his otherwise lucrative engineering career to setup Pakistan Explorer, barging into the world of Travel and Tour operations. With the mission to establish Pakistan on the map of International Tourism industry, he incessantly kept writing and conducting domestic tours with little or no sustenance. By the year 2014, he, along with his partner M. Haris Ansari, incorporated adventure film making into the fore. Bari designed and produced a few survival documentaries unprecedented in the history of Pakistani media. His film “Tomasz Mackiewicz (1973-2018)” participates in this year’s Film Competition.
