Juror of the Film Competition 2019. Director, graduate of the Faculty of Radio and Television of the University of Silesia. Author of such films as Point of View, On the Way, We Will Be Happy One Day. His film ‘Jurek’ which portrays the life of Jerzy Kukuczka, has received 27 prizes all over the world – in Vancouver, Bilbao, Kathmandu, Islamabad, Ulju, Copenhagen, Kendal, Lublana… Since 2011 Pawel has been an expert of the Polish Film Institute. In autumn 2019 his latest film will premiere – about a Polish doctor who for 30 years worked in a leprosy rehabilitation centre in Jeevodaya, India.
