After graduation from Grenoble Institute of Political Studies, Pierre-Loïc Chambon, while working for the City council, continued actively hiking, climbing and splitboarding the mountains around Grenoble. He organizes abroad trips with friends or as a volunteer mountain guide. He is now the head of the Mountain Mission of Grenoble. Every year, the Mission organises an important film festival Les Rencontres Ciné Montagne and promotes mountain culture, practices and values, especially among troubled youth.
