Running competitions have accompanied the Festival in Lądek since 2011. They changed names, sponsors, but it was always the way to to take a short Saturday break from movies and presentations. Since last year we have implemented the idea of a running Crown of the Himalayas. 14 races in the surrounding mountains, so that after 14 years we will appoint the person who has conquered all mountains- run all distances.
Of course, it would be unfair for those who will start running in, let’s say, 5 years, that they no longer have a chance to compete in this year’s Brubeck K2 Run. Therefore, in the following years we will organize a run on more than one route, so that all interested have the chance to complete the lacking elements of the Crown.

The runs are organised by the Foundation of the “Butcher Run” (Bieg Rzeźnika)- a well-known organizer of the iconic Butcher Run- Bieg Rzeźnika in the Bieszczady Mountains and not only.
