Janusz Adamski
Mountaineer and traveller.
He has twice climbed Mt. Everest (2006, 2017- the first Polish traverse) and Cho Oyu. He is the third Pole who completed the Seven Summits.
As one of the few, he has twice finished the “Selection of the Polish Soldier “/”Selekcja Żołnierza Polskiego”, a game modelled on the recruitment tests for SAS and GROM, as well as a number of long distance orienteering, including the toughest one: Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), he is also a medallist of the ERnO Harpagan and the Night Massacre/ Nocna Masakra.
An organizer and participant of two large travel projects “Nowak’s Africa”/”Afryka Nowaka” and “Africo-Asia”. For the first project he was granted the collective award for the 2011 Travel of the Year given by the “Traveler” magazine.
He has visited most countries in the Americas and Africa. Has reached the wildest areas of these continents, e.g. a diamond mine in the Congo, Mountains of the Moon in Uganda, gorillas in the Ruwenzorii Mountains, and canoed over 1000 km down the African rivers: Lulua, Kasai and Congo.
