The 25th edition of the Festival will be longer than usual. Get ready for 10 days, 11th – 20th of September 2020!

Robert Jałocha

Reporter of Fakty TVN, for years associated with television and mountains. Privately, he hikes in the Beskidy, Karkonosze and the Tatras. Has already travelled on business to the Himalayas and Karakoram. In 2016 he participated in the expedition of Adam Bielecki and Jack Czech who tried to climb Nanga Parbat. It was the Base Camp of the ninth mountain in the world where he met Tomasz Mackiewicz and Elizabeth Revol. During his debut in the highest mountains of the world Robert also had the opportunity to talk with Ali Sadpara, Alex Txikon and Simone Moro. They were the ones who in winter 2016 summited the penultimate of the unclimbed eight-thousanders.  After the expedition to Nanga Parbat, Robert became more engaged in mountain topics. From the base in Katowice and later in Wroclaw he reported another expeditions to seven- and eight-thousanders. He personally chose rocks. Last year he did a climbing course. His climbing instructor was Jacek Czech. In February 2018 the journalist once again went to Pakistan. After 7 days of trekking, together with a cameraman, they reached the K2 Base Camp. On the second highest mountain in the world was operating the Polish Winter Expedition led by Krzysztof Wielicki. The expeditions to the Himalayas and the Karakoram range resulted in hundreds of tv coverages and two reportages: „Nanga Parbat. The Unconquered mountain” and “K2. Icy Hell. ”
