Author, screenwriter, speleologist. Born in 1972 in Chorzów. Author of several books, including the novel “Gnój” (Muck), published in 2003 (the Nike Award and Paszport Polityki Award, 2004), “Senność” (Sleepiness), 2008 and “Spiski”, 2010, “Czarna” (Black), 2017 and “Rozmemuary”, 2019. As a speleologist he is particularly lucky to discover new, large caves in Poland (including Niedźwiedzia Górna, Twarda, Harda, Dująca). For his underground achievements he received an honourable mention at the Kolosy Award in 2013. Jury member of our Literary Competition – “Mountain Book of the Year 2018” and “Mountain Book of the Year 2019”.
